Comyns Carr is a professional company which was established in 1995 by Melissa Holston (the executive producer) to provide good quality theatre at an affordable price. Our productions include London and Edinburgh fringe tours of two plays by John Cargill Thompson, What Shakespeare Missed and Romeo and Juliet: Happily Never After (also presented together as Double Bill) and in 1998
A Dangerous Woman
by Paul Webb with Fenella Fielding as the Dutchess of Windsor which played at the New End Theatre. Inrecent years Comyns Carr has presented Thomas Dekker's The Shoemakers Holiday at the Southwark Playhouse and
The Dutch Courtesan by John Marston at the Wimbledon Studio, in highly successful co-productions with Troupe Theatre Company.

We have also built a good reputation for our traditional pantomimes, Aladdin, Cinderella. and Jack and the Beanstalk, all of which toured London schools before playing at the Drayton
Court Theatre.
